Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich:

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 8 oz cooked turkey breast
  • 2 slices cheddar or Swiss cheese
  • 6 slices of tomato
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ avocado, sliced

For the Spread:

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard or honey mustard
  • Salt and black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Prepare material:Slice your bread, turkey and vegetables.
    When desired for additional texture, toast the bread lightly.
  • Mix the spread:In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and mustard.
    Add a pinch of salt and pepper, then shake until smooth.
  • Gather sandwich:Spread the mayo-master mixture on one side of each bread slices.
    On two slices, layer turkey, cheese (if used), latus, tomato, onion and avocado.
    Top with the remaining slices of bread, spreading down.
  • Press and slices:Press gently to keep everything in place.
    Still or down in the middle.
  • Service:Serve immediately with chips, a salad, or a warm soup

Notes

Grilled version: Butter the outsides and grill until golden and crisp. Spicy kick: Add jalepinos or spicy mustard. Holiday Style: Add cranberry sauce and stuffing to thanksgiving twist. Low-carb option: Use latece raps instead of bread.
