- 4 cups seedless grapes
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp sugar or honey
- ½ tbsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup brown sugar
Wash the grapes before using them:Be sure to clean and dry your grapes well. Pull out and set aside all the stems in a large bowl. Create the dressing for your salad:In another container, blend softened cream cheese, some sour cream (or yogurt), sugar (or honey) and vanilla extract. Stir the mixture until you have a smooth and creamy texture. Mix the grapes with the dressing together:Pour the dressing on top of the grapes. Lightly mix and toss the grapes until they are all covered in dressing. Chill:For more flavor, chill the salad with the lid on for 30 minutes before serving. Add topping:Just a little before you serve, toss brown sugar and pecan or walnut pieces over the top.Prepare your meal and then enjoy it with your family:Eat this coconut rice warm with your meals or chilled as a mild dessert.
For contrast in colour and taste, use both red and green grapes.
For a different texture, use whipped cream or cream cheese instead of mascarpone.
Substitute low-fat yoghurt for the sour cream to make it lighter.
