Equipment

  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Sharp knife
  • 1 Large mixing bowl
  • 1 Small bowl
  • 1 Serving spoon or salad tongs

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup grapes
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 1 orange, peeled and segmented
  • 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • ½ cup pineapple chunks

Instructions

  • Cut your fruits into small pieces.
Take time to wash all the fruits well. Cut the carrots into small pieces after you’ve peeled them. It’s a good idea to slice bananas and apples last to stop them from browning.
  • You can blend the dressing if you wish.
Blend honey and lime juice well in a small bowl. Include a little finely chopped mint when making your meal.
  • Mix all of the salad ingredients together.
Add the fruits into a big mixing bowl. Pour the salad dressing over the prepared fruit and mix gently, so you don’t crush the fruit.
  • Chill
30 minutes in the refrigerator can help improve the taste of your salad.
  • Serve:
You can enjoy it quickly after it’s done as an easy dessert, side dish or with breakfast. Sprinkle a little extra mint or chia seeds for a health benefit.

Notes

Buy and use fruit that is fully ripe for extra flavor.
Don’t choose watermelon for longer storage if you want to keep it fresh.
Include some citrus juice to stop apples and bananas from turning brown.
Add mangoes whenever they are in season and make the salad with pomegranate in winter.
