With a big bowl, mix together softened butter, white sugar and brown sugar until it becomes creamy.
Place the eggs into the batter, one at a time and make sure to blend well after each one. Add vanilla as an extra flavoring.
Combine the dry ingredients: In a different bowl, stir flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt until mixed.
Blend the dry mix with the butter buttery mix a little bit at a time. Pour in the oats, the chocolate chips, coconut and nuts.
Wrap the dough and put it in the fridge for one hour to cool.
Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) and place parchment paper on your baking sheet.
Shaping Cookies: Take a ball of dough and set it on the baking sheet at least 2 inches away from the sides of other dough balls.
Bake for about 10-12 minutes until you see golden edges on the cookies. Wait until the food is cooled down before serving or eating it.
